The Bob Groves memorial takes place in late May/early June each year in Memory of Bob who sadly passed away in 2003 following an accident at work.
The event is open to everyone and all races are based on time so adults and juniors race against each other with the top 8 adults and the top 8 juniors going into their respective finals.
Members of Bob's family, including his Mum Doris, sons Dave and Andrew and his brother Alan all race in the event which is competitive but very friendly too.

15 drivers contested this event, including Bob's brother Alan and his younger son Andrew. There were some very close, competitive races but Matt was the worthy winner on the night.

JUNIOR TROPHY
The junior memorial was run on Monday 21st May with 11 entrants. This was disappointing but it clashed with a local school trip. It was still very competitive with a superb display from some of the younger entrants.
